The KLEENTEK cleaner is the only technology that cleans the oil by means of only electrostatic forces, without the use of any filtering elements.

Any insoluble particle contained in hydraulic and lube oils is a contaminant and its charge will be positive, negative or neutral.

With KLEENTEK technology, the oil is made to pass through an electrostatic field specially designed and adjusted as a function of oil speed.
Two flat electrodes mounted in parallel create a uniform electrostatic field, where positive particles are attracted by the negative electrode and vice versa (electrophoresis).
In this setup, neutral particles are subjected to equal and opposite forces and are not attracted.
Conversely, if an electrode has a pointed shape, the forces generated are so strong that even particles that are not charged become polarised, taking on a positive or a negative charge, and are attracted like the other particles (dielectrophoresis).

This partly uniform and partly concentrated field is created inside the so-called “collector” cartridge, which is the consumable element.
The collector is not a filter, it is a cartridge in which the oil flows from the bottom up without meeting any obstacles and hence with no deltaP.
Quick and easy to replace, it consists of a cylindrical unit enclosing a series of coaxial cylinders with in between layers of dielectric material folded like the bellows of an accordion. Whatever their dimensions, the contaminants in the oil are attracted by the cylindrical walls of the collector and stick to them.

KLEENTEK collectors never get clogged, not even when dealing with highly contaminated oils.
Thanks to a particularly large collection surface, they are able to withhold a huge quantity of impurities, not even comparable with the quantities withheld by traditional filters.
This characteristic ensures an extraordinarily long service life of the collector, resulting in lower operating costs.

KLEENTEK is the only technology that can remove all types of contaminants, even smaller than a micron, and therefore can also remove oil oxidation products.
